What day of the week do you deep clean?

Do you prefer Sunday so the house is clean for the week ahead, or a different day?

On the day that I have energy to do it lol

When I see that something needs to be done. My husband and I are both neurodivergent, so we have a chore chart with a rewards system. We both have daily chores (mine are putting away clean dishes, litter boxes, laundry, and floors. His are washing dishes, feeding the cats and cleaning cat bowls, and trash). Then we BOTH have a chore we call “tidy up time” that can be as simple as putting stuff away that’s on the dining table or deep cleaning a bathroom. So for example, this morning I went to the bathroom, noticed the toilet was dirty, so I’ll be cleaning the toilet today for tidy up time.

Sunday reset for me. The entire house gets done then it’s pamper night for me - face mask, exfoliation, hair wash and blow dry etc. 🙂

Sunday's for me unless we've got plans, then it's Saturday. Definitely helps to reset the house before the busy week ahead.
