I need some advice please

Long story short, i’ve had some major hormone issues which greatly reduces the chances of pregnancy..anyway fast forward 14 months of no pregnancy and i assume everything is fine, until i notice some spotting during the time i would normally get my period (my cycles are very short usually 21 days) and so during this i had baaaad lower back pain & sharp sensations in my breasts, i assumed hormonal issues until a week later i finally started bleeding but it was super heavy..i didn’t feel 100% right so took a pregnancy test & it came back positive.

I guess my question is, has this happened to you & what was the end result? I can assume this is a chemical pregnancy but idk my gut feeling is that this is maybe ectopic? Or maybe that’s just me being paranoid 😅 I did take another test today and it is slightly lighter than yesterday..so do i just wait this out & assume everything will self resolve?
