For those who had a d&c, did it cause issues with your cervix in other pregnancies?

Today I went to a maternal fetal medicine specialist because I’m high risk due to having a bicornuate uterus and I’m on blood thinner. Also I had a SCH that caused heavy bleeding with large clots in week 6 and 7.

I’m 12w2d now and the specialist kind of scared me.

She said they want to monitor my cervix because I’ve had a d&c in the past for a miscarriage. She made it seem like because I had a d&c my cervix is going to be weak and could cause a loss later. She even mentioned putting a stitch in if it became weakened.

Everything is great with the baby and the tech actually said my cervix was “a good long cervix” but now I’m stressing about what the doctor said.
