On vacation, partner gone all night

My partner left at 10:30, to go to the casino. (He used to gamble & go to casinos almost all the time when we’d go out of town, gambling addiction) his gambling slowed down significantly. But he went tonight. It’s 5:30AM and he still is not back. I’m pissed. He doesn’t drink, nor does he know anyone way out here (we’re in Toronto). He msged me at 2:30am saying he was up 4K. I told him that it was enough, 5 hours at a casino was wild. Obviously upset with him. The sun is coming up & he isn’t back, I’m so mad and disappointed. I’m at the airbnb with our son too (he’s 3).

* update he’s back. He says “what’s the difference if I was gone all night when you were just sleeping” ??!? Are you kidding me?? No respect at all. I said “did you see someone” he said “no, I was just gambling”
