Is this a miscarriage ?

Periods been late for three weeks with some light spotting often just assumed it would come so didn’t bother to test,I came on last night very heavy for me and this morning woke up to some painful cramping and what I can describe as a burning sensation inside I ended up passing this sac looking clot and noticed something was inside of it so I took a look and this came out,doctor can’t see me today but said by my explanation they would say miscarriage..I was unaware
