Becoming a single mom over baby name?
My partner is having ridiculous name ideas for our baby and he’s just like talking crazy about what to name our baby. He’s naming the baby like he’s a video game character and I’m trying to let him know the baby will be his own person and not just something cool you name.
So I doubt any person would want their name to be SUPER weird and out there and not normal. He wants names that are from anime and like he’s adding on all these anime names like it’s not strange. But to him it’s completely normal and he’s hyping himself up over it thinking it’s the greatest idea ever.
Then he wants to be like oh we promised on if it was a boy I’d get to name him. Like I’ve been promised shit before by people and they turned around and went back on it. Not to say that’s ok but people change their minds. Like I’ve changed my mind on letting him name our baby whatever he wants because clearly he can’t be mature enough to come up with a respectable name.
So its sad that I ended up making the wrong choices staying in this toxic relationship and having it end like this.. :( now I’ll probably have to try to get another job because I can only keep the job I have because I’d have to have someone watch my kids and he was planning on watching our son after he was born since I work nightshift.
I’m probably going to struggle with being lonely which ks what drove me to get into another relationship. Friendship these days leaves you feeling lonely because people are into their own lives and communication is often strained. So that’s probably the main reason why I got into a relationship was to combat loneliness since I struggle with establishing friendships.
I don’t want to be driven to the same conclusion again ;( but if my partner wants to leave because I decide not to name the baby the names he’s coming up with then so be it.
