Bleeding at 14 weeks

Hi all, just looking for some reasurrance and similar stories of bleeding during pregnancy. So about 3 days ago i was brushing my daughters hair for school and i sneezed. I suddenly felt a gush and ran to the toilet as sometimes when i sneeze i leak a little. I wiped and there was watery pink discharge. As i sat there i felt more come out and when i looked the toilet was dark red! I started panicking and called my partner shaking and crying. I was rushed into hospital via blue lights to the nearest early pregnancy unit where they scanned me. Baby was absolutely fine. Everything looked great. They said they dont know where the bleeding came from. But thats all they did. No urine test, no blood test, no internal exam. The bleeding last a few hours, theb gradually stopped. Where the hell did the bleeding come from? Im still bleeding brown discharge but ever so lightly on and off. It is still a little worrying. Im going to call my midwife tomorrow and see what advice she'll give. I really feel like i need a second opinion.
