38 was 6 days, not feeling any contractions

Hello all,

I’m 38 weeks and 6 days getting induced in a day. My doctor told me she will start with cytotec, induction is due to medical reason- Gestational Diabetes.

I just feel tightening around the belly but it could be due to baby movement ( maybe baby’s butt) on one side. I never experienced real contraction. We had NSTs done every week, but there was only 1 contraction if the doc wants to consider that.

Cervical check was done at 36 weeks, doc mentioned that I was not at all dilated and my cervix was still high. I’m a FTM and getting induced in a day. 39 weeks 0 days- at 8 pm.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts about not having contractions, stressed about getting induced, and if you can send any positive vibes my way. Also if you can share any estimate of how long labor is going to take based on my situation.
