Do you curse around your kids??

My sister gets on me when I curse around my toddler lol. Nothing crazy, she just says “Brynnleys ears” 😂😂. I honestly don’t shield my kid from my cursing. I wanted to know what you guys think??

If you educate your child correctly, they’ll hear all the smut out there and not repeat it.  We curse around ours and they KNOW.  From my 8y/o to my 3 y/o.  In the end it’s what you cultivate in them, not the world around them.

I’ve been a sailor mouth for as long as I can remember. I tried not to cuss around my son when he was little but once in a while I would slip up so instead of my sons first word being “mom/mama/mommy” it was “bitch” 😂 
I will say though, when he started full on talking, he never cussed no matter how many times I would because I taught him not to say those words and despite my “potty mouth” he never did. Now as a teenager, idc. As long as he’s not doing it in front of teachers or dropping f* bombs. I know he and his buddies are cussing non stop around each other so it is what it is. He knows when he can/can’t use those words. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I definitely do not. Children are innocent. They don’t need to hear foul language. They’ll get plenty of exposure to it as they grow and age.

I’m probably gonna get mom shamed for this but whatever, I curse around my kid, and he curses too 🤷🏻‍♀️ he knows as long as it’s at home it’s okay to do. In public we don’t say those words.

I tell my kids they're not tall enough to use those words yet lol.
I try to lead by example by not cursing, but sometimes sh*t happens and my kids know they're not supposed to repeat certain words.

I think everyone does. Most people are already in the habit of it before having kids & it just happens no matter how hard you try not to. Very hard habit to break because it’s like 2nd nature to just talking in general.
