I cannot get my baby to burp anymore it takes too damn long and every position she stubbornly disagrees to burp the next time I try it. I keep trying but if she dnt burp it turns into a cuddle lol

Does she need to burp? Is she uncomfortable? I’ve never really burped either of my babies very systematically or deliberately. Just patted them a bit to give them a chance if they needed it.

I just hold babe upright to reduce the pain. Let him squirm and look around for a few minutes. Then I try and burp him.

I used to hold my daughter on my lap with my left hand on her chin and helping her sit. I would move her in circular motion a few times and then burped her. Worked!

When my son was a newborn I put him on my knee and burped him like that. If he’s not uncomfortable you don’t have to burp him though.

I’ve found that if I lay our LO flat for a little while and then try to burp him it’ll work like magic!
