How do you breastfeed+bottle feed?

I know this sounds so dumb.😅
 I want to combo feed when baby comes but don’t know how without messing up my supply. I essentially want to breastfeed majority of feeds, but have maybe 2 feeds(although the number of feeds changes by age so I’m not sure how to calculate) during the day be formula since I’ll be working. 
Just curious of what things made this successful for other moms who have combo fed. 
Also-what day did you introduce the bottle? Scared of nipple confusion but want baby to be comfortable with both.

It’s reality this thought is just creating more work than there needs to be. When you give formula you WILL have to pump in replace of those missed nursing sessions regardless. It’s just easier to nurse baby when baby is with you. While at work you will have to pump in order to keep supply up, otherwise not removing milk will decrease it. And when you pump at work that pumped milk would be used while you are away from baby. So really, there’s no sense in using formula at all. 
** I am not formula shaming, only saying truth. I had to give formula supplement for higher calories to my youngest from 3wks old to 3.5m old as she had medical issues.

I have a 16 week old who has 1-2 formula bottles a day, the rest is breastfed. I started with formula bottles about 6 weeks in as I was confident breastfeeding was established. It’s best to keep your bottles for the same time of day so that your body gets used to it. About 3 or so months into breastfeeding, your milk production tends to know what it’s doing and that’s the point that I no longer had any over supply/leakage issues.

I combo fed my 1st, and will switch to combo feeding soon with my 2nd (she's EBF for now). My recommendation: 1) exclusively breastfeed for the first 2-6 weeks to establish a supply. 2) do not do multiple bottle feeds in a row unless you plan to pump. 3) be consistent on when you give baby a bottle each day so your supply doesnt dip. I planned on formula feeding, but I ended up fully using breastmilk since I still needed to pump at work. If I hadn't, my supply would have dried up. I'd suggest not worrying yet. Just see how it sort of shakes out for you.

I combo fed with my daughter … before I went back to work, dad gave her a bottle of formula at the same time everyday ( I wasn’t pumping at this point)  this was purely just for my sanity. When I returned to work I started pumping… I pumped 3 x while I was working to make bottles for the next day. I didn’t get much while pumping so my husband would simply use formula once / if my breast milk had run out for the day. I had a very small freezer stash from using the haaka while nursing . This worked for us honestly and saved a lot of my sanity …. breast feeding is exhausting and hard work especially in the beginning. I also introduced the bottle very early on… like within the first week and had no issues with nipple confusion. Al though I think I just got lucky when it came to that! I used dr brown bottles
