Clomid?

Question

Has anyone had unexplained fertility issues not related to PCOS and been prescribed clomid? How many cycles did it take you to conceive? And did you have a multiples pregnancy? I’m hesitant to start it because of the risk of multiples.

I have infertility issues, I do have PCOS but that’s not the reason I’ve done medicated cycles. Clomid and Femara are both great medication but they are only to assist with ovulation. Actually getting pregnant is another story. I’ve done 22 medicated cycles, no pregnancy.

I have unexplained recurring miscarriages. Took 1 round of clomid, got pregnant, and miscarried. Took a round of Letrozole, and successfully conceived and carried son to term. Currently waiting on my period from my forth failed round of Letrozole.

The risk really isn't that much higher than average. I did 6 rounds of clomid and did not conceive. We were unexplained at the time. It's a risk I was OK with.
