Stuck on anniversary gift/birthday gift for my fiancé. Is this too much in a short time?

I’m really stuck on anniversary/birthday gifts for my fiancé. It’s our last dating anniversary before our wedding. He recently brought up how he wishes we did more things on the weekends and how he wants to go to this local theater. I figured he wasn’t comfortable doing large group things like concert’s because of the possibility of catching covid.

For our anniversary I was thinking of getting him concert tickets to a band we love(I honestly like them more than him) but was between two dates. One is an amphitheater 10 minutes from our house that I’ve always wanted to go to. The 2nd is a ballpark 3 hours from us where our parents live. It’s a fun time and we’ve seen them many a time there.

Amphitheater is a Sunday in August and Ballpark is the following Saturday. Amphitheater has no tickets so I’d have to go to stubhub and pay probably double the amount(currently ok seats are $160). Ballpark hasn’t sold out so everything is face value. I’m just unsure if we could stay with my MIL because his sister splits her time there while her husbands deployed and she’s really trying to not catch covid due to getting irregular heart beat the last time she had it. We always stay with my MIL when in town. She could avoid seeing us that weekend but she’d automatically think MIL was exposed by being around us and have to stay away a week or more.

As far as his birthday he mentioned wanting to checkout a local theater. I saw Lion King is coming(it’s the Broadway touring show) so was thinking it’d be a good birthday gift since I was planning on the concert tickets being the anniversary gift. The issue is the Broadway show starts on a Wednesday and goes for 1.5 weeks(goes until Sunday) There’s two weekends of shows and the final weekend of shows is the weekend of the amphitheater concert. It’s about $100 for the Broadway play. I also don’t know if he would be interested in a Broadway play. I’ve seen this show before and it’s very well done.

Now I’m stuck on if I do both or if it’s too much in a short time?
