The most batshit and nonsensical part of that whole thing was that the whole basis for their "affluenza" 🙄 argument was that  a lifetime of not facing any consequences for his actions lead him to think that there wouldn't be consequences for drinking and driving. So, their solution for that is to once again give him limited consequences for killing four people? Now surprise, surprise he still seems to think he can do whatever he wants. He should have gone to jail the first time.

Unfortunately, this is my cousins son. I was so outraged when I found out he only got 10 years probation, as was most of my family. This wasn't his first time driving drunk, and, unfortunately, this time he killed 4 people. I'd like to see his ass locked away, along with his Mom, for a long ass time. People in my family kept saying that he's learned his lesson, and now they're all eating their words. The fact that they're talking only 4 months is horseshit!
