Mono Di Pregancy Questions

Just found out last week that i’m having twins! It was definitely a shock but we are so excited! I was told I’d have to have another ultrasound in 2 weeks & begin seeing MFM, but they haven’t called to schedule me yet.

My question is, for other mono di moms, how often did you have appointments throughout your pregnancy? Also, if you’ve already had them, what week did you deliver?

Also, on the ultrasound baby A was measuring at 6w5d and baby B was 7w2d. Has anyone else experienced that big of a difference, and if so what was the outcome?

I saw the mfm about every 2 weeks starting at 15 weeks. I delivered at 33 weeks due to their amniotic fluid running so low they failed their bpps

I’m 24 weeks with mo/di girls. I see an MFM every 2 weeks and started at 21 weeks (I think a lot of people start around 18w though) I don’t think that’s that big of a difference. Not even a week. Hope all is well 💕

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Bringing life to earth is such a precious experience, and I hope you enjoyed your pregnancy thus far; may the remainder of your pregnancy be beautiful, healthy and successful! ❤️🍼❤️🍼 Two new lives are breathing inside of you and nothing can be more exciting than that! ❤️🍼❤️🍼 May all the happiness enter your home in the form of these babies; have a safe delivery and a healthy twins! ❤️🍼❤️🍼 Sending you positive vibes! 💛✨️ I saw an MFM Specialist when I was pregnant with my first set of twins (di/di twin girls) and I suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum during that pregnancy, which is a severe morning sickness. It required me to be hospitalized for much of my pregnancy. I did not have to see a MFM Specialist when I was pregnant with my second set of twins (mo/mo twin boys). And I had a fairly good pregnancy. With both pregnancies, I found out I was pregnant between 5-6 weeks and had a total of 7-9 appointments throughout the course of the pregnancy. And with my twin girls, they were born at 37 weeks and with my twin boys, they were born at 39 weeks--both via c-section. And that is actually not much of a difference between your twins and I experienced the same with my girl twins and all was well in the end. ❤️❤️
