Unconventional Learning Options?

Question

Any working moms using unconventional education options for their child? I love hearing about stay at home moms that home school and plan activities with other stay at home moms. I also love hearing about hybrid schools where students spend some days in the classroom and other days at home or in other learning locations. Please share what you are doing with your child and how you found it :)

I have a friend that is a certified teacher and she homeschools her children with accredited programs. Some do Abeka and one is Stride I believe. She has 5 children and she teaches online. 
I’m a high school teacher/college professor. My son attends public school and we live in a well-funded district with great schools. 
My niece had flipped-flopped between private school and homeschooling. 
Check with your state laws first regarding homeschooling. Some states are stricter than others. Check accreditations for private schools. Just keep in mind what educational standards your child might have to meet if they want to attend college or go into public education institutions in the future. You don’t want them to be behind. Keep in mind state laws and homeschool requirements. Keep records. Routine is important.
