When did you move baby into own room?

I’m aware the guidance is over 6 months but just interested in when people moved their little ones as we’re considering it for various reasons (baby is almost 5 months)

Our little girl didnt move into her beautifully decorated nursery until she was 2. She is 3 now and tucked up between us in our bed...

With my first at 4 months as we were waking each other up during the night as he was a light sleeper. His sleep improved in his own room. 
Now with my second, she is 13 weeks old and I’m hoping to move her soon as she’s an even lighter sleeper than my son was but she wakes up so frequently to feed that I don’t know if I can be bothered to keep getting up and walking across the hall multiple times …..at same time she’s outgrowing her bassinet so I think I’ll have no choice soon

We did 6 months as per guidance but I’m pregnant with second baby now and next time I will move them before 6 months. I felt like if I moved my first daughter earlier the transition would have been much smoother, we’ll see though!

My son went into his own room at 4months because he outgrew the next to me cot and was hitting the sides and waking himself up. We were also disturbing his sleep (my husband worked nights at the time) and the baby would wake every time he came home. It took me a while to be comfortable with him being across the hall but it was better for his sleep and as a result mine. 
I probably would have kept him in with us till 6months if he was sleeping well in our room.
