Working from Home with 5 month old

So I'm planning to work from home and take care of my baby at the same time. My baby seems to always cry whenever I put her away for a minute or two. How have you manage to WFH and take care of your child at the same time? Especially once that is a few months old. I'm not planning on putting the baby in childcare. My biggest concern is that she can't seem to accept that sometimes mom has to go to the bathroom, study, clean or do any activities without her. It's mentally exhausting because I love her and I feel terrible leaving her alone for a few minutes to an hour.
