Congratulations! You have di/di twins which I’ve been told as the least high risk of twins. This is because they have their own sacs, fluid and placentas. Di/di twins also do tend to stay in longer but obviously not always the case. I have mono/di twins so they shared a placenta but never had any issues. Zero sickness, barely any symptoms, was tired and heavy/uncomfortable which is normal for multiples lol. Carried them til 35w5d and both were around 5lbs. 1 baby was in the nicu for 24 hours for monitoring and we all went home 2 days after they were born. I also had a successful vaginally delivery with both and were only 4 minutes apart. 2 pushes for baby a and 1 push for baby b. Make sure you have a great support system who will give you positive thoughts throughout your pregnancy. I would have crumbled without my midwives compassion and kind hearts. My OB was very knowledgeable but lacked the emotional side of things making my pregnancy a little more stressful than it needed to be. Twins are truly a blessing and once you have them you will probably wish you didn’t stress so much during pregnancy. At least that’s how I feel cause I truly did have a textbook pregnancy with them but google stresses me out. So try to stay away from google as much as possible (I know it’s hard)
Found out I’m having twins today!
Baby A 6w5D HR 134
Baby B 7w HR 138
I never should have jumped onto google because it is full of scary stuff lol.
Just looking for positive encouragement for healthy babies! They have their own sacs and what looks to be their own placenta’s according to the OB.
