I’ve gotten to know my neighbor a little and she just had her 5th baby. So I went over to congratulate and chit chat. I like her and she’s easy to talk to but, she married really young is now 40 and is somewhat religious. The second time she brings up sensitive topics, such as Abortion and she’s appalled how 15 year old get to learn about it in school. She even mentioned that even if someone was raped, the baby is blessed to either keep it or give it up for adoption. And that sex is shouldn’t just be for fun so she doesn’t understand how they teach pre-teens/ teens all that.

I don’t want to engage in these type of topics because as I’ve said to her, it’s educational and personal choice. It’s great to talk about these things but not when someone is so hung up on religious beliefs and being judgmental. I’m a bit confused if I should even bother befriending her?!!
