This is my first time dating since 2017.

We’ve been friends for a year now.. flirting for about 8 and together for almost 3 months. We’ve been taking things super slow.

I told him I have a hard time expressing my feelings. And he responded “voice them because I think you’d be surprised..” and left it at that. I’ve been catching myself going to tell him I love you after a conversation or before he leaves but I stop myself. I literally adore this man so much. I never knew I could feel such a connection with someone..

So I asked him what he meant by that over text later that night and he said I’ll have to find out.. just to voice what to want to say.. then he proceeded to let me know their is no rush but he’s in this for the long run and he wants me to know that..

I’m just so nervous of rejection but I don’t even care if he says it back or not.. it’s not about that to me. I need him to know how I feel but is it to soon? We’ve been heavy into each other for a good 8 months now.. it took us a long time to “date” because we’re both parents and we wanted to be sure we wanted this and boyyyy we were sure. I just want to do this right.
