First pregnancy was a chemical 💔

I miscarried or am in the process of miscarrying. I went to the emergency room today due to light/medium bleeding after light brown spotting last night and this morning.

They couldn’t find anything with the ultrasounds and my HCG levels were 5.

I almost feel like I knew this whole time it just wasn’t going to happen for us. I held on to hope, thinking my anxiety was getting the best of me, but I think deep down I just knew.

I was only 4 weeks and 4 days in, but I found out 8-9 DPO, so it was over a week of hope and worry.

If you had a chemical pregnancy how soon did you feel ready to start TTC again? I think we’re going to as soon as we can, but I’m so scared this will be a recurring problem now. I truly never thought this would happen to me, if I’m being honest.

I know this is relatively common, but it sucks. Did anybody else do things differently next time around? I don’t think I’m even going to take a pregnancy test until a week or so past my missed period next time.
