I started doing deposits for my kittens and someone deposited before checking it was okay with who they live with however now they’ve changed their mind they’re asking for the money back I did put it in my ad they were non refundable due to me having to put the kitten back up for sale which is a £10 fee and then finding him a new home however due to my ad being reviewed as I had edited it it hasn’t posted yet as I have to wait for them to review it before posting again the deposit was only £20

Can I keep the deposit or do I have to give it back?

The person said they were having it then changed their mind after I deleted the cat. In my eyes they should’ve made sure it was ok ti have first instead of depositing beforehand
