Breastfeeding is exhausting

Macy

Does anyone else feel like breastfeeding is talking a toll on their mental health? I really want my baby getting breastmilk. My little man seems to eat nonstop (I know newborns eat around the clock but I wasn’t expecting it to feel like this). It’s especially draining at night because he’ll have 30-45 minute feeds and as soon as I put him in his bassinet he wakes up hungry. I end up spending the night in his rocking chair getting random cat naps and I’m exhausted. I feel like I’ll be living in the rocking chair forever. Anyone feeling like this too? How do you cope?

Note: my husband usually does one bottle feed at night to help me get a little more rest but he’ll be going back to work soon and I don’t want him to be exhausted for work
