Issues with rolling in the night

My 6 month old is not sleeping well at all and it’s killing me. One issue seems to be him being stuck on his front…

He rolls the literal second his body hits the bed and cries. This goes on for hours. When he eventually falls asleep 45 mins later he’s crying stuck on his front again.

In the past couple of days when doing tummy time each time I’ve turned around for a minute or picked up some toys etc hes back on his back?!

So I know he can get back but he just cries and cries. Idk what else to do? Any advice?

And any general sleeping advice lol
