I'm looking at two apartments right now. I want to move out of my current place because they're increasing rent and frankly they're not worth what they're asking because maintenance has left my AC broke for 4 weeks.

1st place: Is close to where im at already so moving would be easier, I already know the neighborhood, and it's close to work. It's some what a bad area but everyone minds their business. The reviews on Google are 3.8 stars. However some of the reviews have claimed they had false charges added to their rent for Maintaince stuff. Which honestly is about what I can afford and it's reviewed better than what my current place is.

2nd: Is further from work but it's in a better area. They have new management, and are also in the middle of doing upgrades. However I'm afraid once they do upgrades to my apartment I wouldn't be able to afford it and would just have to move in a year or two again. But the reviews are 2.5 stars..it's kinda hard to know if it's a good place or not since management is new.

I don't really care about anything except 1.) Being close to work 2.) Working AC 3.) False fees
