Miscarriage signs

I think I might be miscarring, I started bleeding since last Monday and went to doctor last Tuesday and we saw baby and heartbeat but this past weekend I had heavy bleeding and had some blood clots. I'm 6-7 weeks and I don't know if to go to er or just wait tills appointment next Monday.  I'm so scared I might have miscarried. People tell that there are people who have bleeding in first trimester. Has anyone had bleeding and still remained pregnant?
