Antibotics at 7weeks old

Has anyone had to give their newborn antibiotics for an ear infection this young? She’s my 5th baby, but the first to ever be sick this young let alone have an ear infection. I know the antibiotics will cause tummy trouble so I was prepared for some the first night she started it. Last night was extremely rough as she cried all night long before passing out just before 6am. I can deal with colic, but this was much worse no matter how many times I fed, changed, burped, or did the bicycle thing to help with gas. I just need to know if this is normal for a baby this young because we have 5 more days of antibiotics and I know my husband and I won’t survive the nights like this.
