Will I actually make it to June?

I’ll be 37 weeks June first. I’m 32 weeks now and I’m 2 almost 3cm and 50% effaced and baby is already engaged (-3 or -2). My midwife actually felt her head on my cervix when I was checked yesterday. I home I make it another 5 weeks lol. How’s everyone else doing? 😅

I would say 50/50 that you could or could not deliver early. With my last baby I was dilated 4 cm at 35 weeks and didn’t give birth until 39 weeks and by then I was 6 cm dilated. Don’t worry about it too much your body will tell you when it’s time.

I have a short cervix and a unicornate uterus putting me at high risk for preterm labor. Everything looked okay at 29 weeks, I go back to the high risk doctor tomorrow. They aren’t expecting me to go much further than I did with my first. He was born at 34+6. Hospital policy here is no nicu time past 35 weeks so I just want to make it there. Obviously I hope for longer but my personal goal is at least 35.

It’s hard to say really, my sister spent weeks at 3 cm and made it to her 39 weeks induction. She was at a 4 upon being admitted

While there is no way to predict exactly when you will go into labor, it's important to continue to take care of yourself and follow your healthcare provider's recommendations.
