Mucus plug and dilating

So I was for 7 weeks fingertip dilated,yesterday,I went to the ER cause baby wasn't moving a lot and contractions, I dilated close to 3cm and baby was 30% effaced,today I went to the restroom and when I wiped my mucus plug came completely out(which started to come out 6 weeks ago but today,it had lots of blood so I know thats it)how long to give birth usually,I'm 35+2 weeks so Idk,can you guys give me some personal experiences?I'm not too worried,just curious
