Castor oil to induce

Greetings!! I'm not taking castor oil to try to naturally induce my labor . I repeat , I AM NOT. However, I was wondering if there are any others out there who have taken it , & if so what was the outcome? My husband & my mother in law recommends that I take it. She took it with all of her children & was fine but I've personally read one too many horror stories regarding the subject . I'm hoping that your stories (good or bad) will give my husband a better idea of what the potential effects could be . He says its in numerous sites as a recommendation so it couldn't be that bad. Maybe real life accounts might give us both a better understanding. Please don't be rude . I'll be rude in return. Thanks!!
