I had a prenatal appt today. As far as I knew, it sounded like it was pretty definite we would be doing a planned c-section again. I had open and closed heart surgery as a baby, and have been fine since. I have arthritis in my back because of other issues where I was born without a tailbone or last three vertebrae. It's not debilitating for the most part (winter is worse). I have double uterus, double cervix and double vagina. There is some joining between the uterus, but the rest is divided all the way down to my opening (business on the outside, party on the inside lol). My last pregnancy, my son was breech the whole time, and so that was one of the reasons for the c-section. I am 4'11", and not a big frame. Doctor informed me today that whenever we can talk to the OBGYN, and get their opinion, there may be chance for vaginal birth this time. I worry that because I am divided, wouldn't that mean half the room for baby to be pushed out of? Wondering if anyone has dealt with this specific thing (the division all the way down) and having a vag delivery, and especially after a previous c-section, or just the VBAC in general? How was it? I'm kind of scared of the idea. I'm 21 weeks right now, so have time to gather opinions and think about things.
