Coming off of continuous BC

Hi all! My husband and I are newly TTC -- I finished my last BC pack last weekend. I was diagnosed with endometriosis 8 years ago and so on the advice of my obgyn have been taking my birth control continuously to try to alleviate the symptoms and hopefully make pregnancy more likely.
We are so excited to start trying, but given my history and age (I am 35) I am also nervous and trying to be realistic. First bridge to cross is to get my period back! Anyone take BC continuously for a prolonged period? How long did it take to get your period back?
Thanks so much!!! All advice/insights appreciated :).

No endo for me, but I was on BC for 17 years and got my period right on time when I stopped. I was just fertile for the firsttime since in the long TWW...

I took 91 day hbc, and my first withdrawal bleed was right on schedule, 4 days after the last pill. So, not exactly the same as you, and no endo diagnosis for me, but I was on it for 10 years. I just preferred to have fewer periods.

Thanks! I took my last pill on Sunday 12/27 and other than some very light spotting and what felt like cramps, nada. Makes it hard to track things! Hoping for a regular cycle soon!!
