Break up/New relationship

I recently got out of a relationship that lasted almost a year & a half. Obviously I still have feelings for him, but I am in a relationship with someone else. Is this really even fair to the guy I'm seeing right now? I like him, but I love my ex. I will eventually lose interest in my ex, but is this being unfair?
