Hidden twin completely pissed?! Any thoughts!?

I had went for my scans all this time. They told me it was one freaking baby.  I got back to my doctor and they told me now at 23 weeks I have a hidden twin. Previously one nurse told me it’s more than one . Then the doctor said there is no way at 20 weeks because she went to school and I’m not special . Trying to make it seem as if I didn’t feel kicks on both sides of my stomach and made a statement that I’m carrying small for my first pregnancy.now I’m finding out I’m having twins at 6 months?!

personally as someone having twins as well, i’d be finding another doctor. their manners sound like trash as it is & i think i’d be pretty pissed too. i have way more appointments already because i do have twins on the way so you could’ve been missing out on care due to a doctor being arrogant so i feel you’re valid mama. i will say it’s taken time to process having twins for me, but i hope you adjust and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy the best you can❤️

That doctor sounds awful! I would switch to someone who listens, shows respect, and speaks to you like an intelligent human being! I know it is damn near impossible to find docs that are available, on the right insuranc, etc so I understand if you can’t switch. I am just so sorry that you went through that!

Not unusual for a doctor to be wrong. I mean shit happens. Take the positive that you found out before giving birth. Now you have some time to prepare for the other baby.

Wait… I feel kicks on both sides but I assumed it was because the baby moved sides and sometimes was arms or sometimes legs… does not everyone feel kicks on both sides?

I’d be pissed initially because how the hell do they not catch that also when pregnant with twins I’m sure it’s more appointments and care that needed to be done. Definitely get you another doctor. I’m 30 pregnant with my first baby at 23 weeks and I also just had to switch doctors because my doctor would skip things they were supposed to do on my monthly appointments such as get my babies heartbeat 💓 like how do you forget to do that
