Beta question

Hi ladies! I had my first beta yesterday at 17 days post IUI and it was 1672. My RE said they only track it until 1000, so I don't even need to come back until my ultrasound on 1/21. Did anyone else have a similar experience? I wasn't expecting the number to be so high.
