You put yourself first & make the decision to not stay with someone who expresses hate for you.. even in the heat of an argument. I’ve been w my SO for years & we have never told each other we hate each other.. tbh we have never even called each other names. Disagreements in relationships should never be an attack against who you are as a person. That’s not normal or healthy.

Every time a person tells you that they hate you it’s because they are actually feeling hatred in that moment. What’s in the heart comes out of the mouth be careful. Even in arguments they word hate should not be able to come out if love is what they have for you

I bet it was a heated argument, and maybe,  you also said things that hurt. On this app people advocate for breakups and divorces. I am not saying you don't need to respect yourself, all I am saying is to put things in context and think about what he said, but also what you said and why he said it. We all say things in arguments that we regret after a while.
