My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 10 years and we are early-mid 20s. A couple years ago I found out he was saving pictures of naked women to his phone (and he has a type too, they were all a bit older/pornstars in their 30s and 40s). Sometimes he had multiple different shots of the same woman. It hurt me so badly because at the time he was turning down any of my sexual advances and we weren’t having any sex. When he found out it hurt me he deleted the pics but then started saving new ones in a hidden folder on his iPhone.

Now, he looks at porn pictures but doesn’t save them. But we hardly ever have sex and I feel so ugly and insecure from these pictures that I can’t even let him see my body naked when we have sex. He claims that this is why he looks at pictures, because I’m not giving him what he needs and he can’t orgasm if he can’t see me naked.

I honestly just feel like breaking up over this, I feel like I can’t recover from this and I honestly feel like the porn was cheating on me. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to show him my body again. Is this a dumb reason to break up with someone?
