IUI success stories?

Hey ladies, I was wondering if anyone here had success with IUI in their 40’s?

I have not tried IUI, but I know an OB who has lots of success stories of women in their 40s. Most doctors won’t just do IUI, there needs to be a reason and tests done first to know if you are a good candidate. If you are interested, there is an at home kit you can try. It’s not IUI, but I’ve heard good success stories. Good luck in your journey. ❤️

Thanks for replying, Ashley! This was encouraging to hear at a moment when I really needed it. I’m under the care of a reproductive endocrinologist and just started taking meds for an IUI two days ago. When reading the stats for successful IUIs for a 43 yr old, it’s abysmal. I was feeling a little down when I posted my original message thinking, am I just fooling myself? Is the doctor just being kind going the IUI route with me instead of IVF which isn’t covered under my insurance plan. I want this to work so badly and am so hopeful and trying to stay positive, but doubts get the better of me at times. Thanks again for sharing, it was great to hear and keeps on thinking positive! 🤍
