Tired of explaining why I don’t have children yet

My brothers expecting his 2nd child the first born is 11 and today as I congratulated his wife he said “ damn how did you let us make another kid before you had one?” And proceeded to laugh. Although he didn’t mean it harshly it hurt because I’ve been TTC for a while now. And secondly I’m 26 so I’m aware that I still have some time but I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost 5 years now so there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t get asked why don’t we have a child yet. Sadly all it does is make me want to rush to conceive my child faster. Anyone else experienced similar?
