Mfm ultrasound

I was referred to MFM because my sons right kidney was on the upper side of normal. My ob told me it’s nothing to be concerned over and that this is normal in boys. I was told it should clear up by itself by birth. No big deal, nothing else was mentioned at my anatomy scan other than he looked healthy. I went to the mfm today to check on his kidney and they told me because I had never been there they would do a full scan. At the end it was determined that the kidney has remained the same, not better or worse, not a huge deal. Then they told me they saw a bright spot on his heart, also “not a big deal”. However those two things together can be considered markers for Down syndrome. Now I’m freaking out. I did the nipt at 12 weeks 4 days and had a negative screen. My post test risk was 0.01%. I was told I could speak to a genetic counselor if I wanted or I could do amniocentesis to be 100% sure. I declined for now but I don’t know what to do. There is no family history of Down syndrome, the nipt was negative but I’m still a wreck. I feel like I can’t enjoy my pregnancy anymore.
