Lightening crotch after having baby?

I had my baby via emergency c section after dilating to 10 cm, 5 days ago. Starting yesterday and getting worse today I have been exposed lightening crotch in my vagina/butt area like I did when I was pregnant but obviously there’s no baby in there. It’s more intense than when I was pregnant and I’m not sure what could be causing it. I also have an odd (not painful or uncomfortable) feeling around the opening of my vagina. Has anyone else experienced any of this after having a baby?
