Deviated septum, surgery, breastfeeding ?

Has anyone had surgery to correct a deviated septum while breastfeeding, and been able to continue breastfeeding while on pain meds after the surgery? I have just been told I have a severely deviated septum and it’s causing some negative symptoms that are starting to affect my every day life significantly. I wouldn’t be getting surgery until the fall, my baby will likely be 11-12 months by then, but I really wanted to continue breastfeeding until she self weans. I’m worried I won’t be able to breastfeed while recovering and it will force me to stop nursing before my daughter and I are ready. I failed at breastfeeding the first time around and am so happy it’s going well this time.😔
