Thinking of TTC #3 in the near future, but have had 2 prior c sections
**possible trigger warning ⛔️**
**mention of CS**
Hello all!
I am a mama of 2 thinking of TTC #3 in the near future. I have had a c section with both prior pregnancies, and am a bit worried it’s not safe for another.
Here’s some insight on those.
With my first, I was diagnosed with preeclampsia so I was induced at 36+5 for our safety and after 37 hours babys heart rate dropped so they opted for an emergency c section & she was born at 37 weeks exactly. They labeled it as failure to progress & deceleration of baby’s heart beat.
We waited 2 years to try for baby #2, not expecting to be diagnosed with PCOS. When our oldest was 3 1/2 we found out about baby #2. The doctor was supportive of a TOLAC in hopes to get a VBAC. Everything that entire pregnancy was perfect. I also received chiropractic care in hopes to help achieve my goal, however at 37 weeks my blood pressure was a tad elevated so I was admitted to L&D for evaluation. Blood pressure went down but was having contractions that were consistent so they kept me. At 37+4 they said baby’s heart dropped with the Braxton hicks contractions and said she wouldn’t handle “real” contractions so they did a c section.
My youngest is now 2.5 and we’re talking about a third but worried about how my body would hold up with a 3rd pregnancy.
Has anyone had 2 c sections and successfully had a vba2c? Or anyone had 3 c sections that were successful?
Any and all insight is welcome and appreciated.
