What is the "perfect" time between children?

I used to think I had an idea of what I wanted for timing. Now, as I see women on here struggling to conceive and know that is also a very real possibility for me as we get further into TTC, I just think I'll feel so blessed to have ONE, and that if I actually had more than one, the timing between them would be so unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

Mine is 6 years apart it helps me because I don't wish to change two sets of diapers my eldest can do it all her self from go potty make her own food and dress her self everything to me it helps me..
Me and my sister are 4 years apart and we are always mad at each other I dunno it really depends on different things.. And how the kids are..

There really isn't a right answer. There are so many factors that can change how it works out eg, personalities of each family member, maturity of older child/ren, maternity leave entitlements, financial stability, maternal age, mental health, etc. And there is also what makes you happy! Some mothers might love having two little ones close together in age but others might love having one baby and waiting for years before having another.
Just do what feels right! ❤️

I was hoping for 2 years age difference. Here I am with a 6 year old. Any other child would be at least 7 years younger

I think the perfect timing is when they are old enough not to be in diapers for long at the same time. My friend has 4 kids in diapers and she spends like half her day diapering them all up

Ours will be almost 7 years apart. We didn't plan it that way, it mostly got to the point where I turned 29, and I told my husband I didn't want any more kids after 30, so we figured if we were going to have one we better start trying lol. If it happened it happened, if it didn't it didn't. Well, it did lol. But now we'll have our boy and our girl and we're done for sure.

If everything goes to plan, our two will be about 2 years apart. I'm 33 and 25 weeks pregnant with my first. We want to try again when I'm 35... I don't want to wait too long because of my age

I like what my sister in-law did. They are a little over 2 years apart so by the time she had her second her first was potty trained. I like that cause it would cost a lot to have two children in diapers and a little annoying ha ha but whatever you feel you can handle would be the perfect time for you :)
