Hormone drip or no hormone drip?

Question

Im currently pregnant with my second baby and consultant lead this time due a traumatic birth with my first baby which involved induction and the hormone drip.
Has anyone had a labour with the drip and without? How did they differ in terms of pain and the complications etc?
I need to decide what to do and i really dont want the drip again

Is the hormone drip Pitocin? If so I only had it at ￼like 8 cm when I’m stalled out from the epidural with my previous two pregnancies. I plan on doing it fully natural this time

I’m not allowed any hormones and was induced without. I had a foley balloon then they broke my waters. Had an epidural and no issues was a great experience. I’m very high risk and had all 6 of my usual consultants involved in the plan plus extra pregnancy ones MFM, neonatal cardiologist and high risk OB. They can do without and it all works out ok.
