Taking Birth Control

I know I’m already wrong for incorrectly taking my birth control. This is my first hiccup and definitely a bad one. Last month me and my daughter were sick for two weeks between the both of us. Taking my birth control was the last thing on my mind. When we were well again, I realized that it was too many missed pills and decided to just skip the rest of the month, have my period and then start again the following Sunday. I did. I started my new pack for the first 2-3 days and then I ended up missing about 4 pills idk how I didn’t even realize how much I missed. On that fourth day tho I started losing old blood. I just continued taking the pills where I left off. I’m on day 3 of starting over again properly and still old blood. My next period is due in 12 days. Idk what to do from here 🥺
