Lump & clot normal ?!?!

I had to have an emergency c-section (1st ever of 3 births) because my sons heart rate kept dropping with every push. They said it was a traumatic birth & anemia. So they kept me in the recovery room for 4 days, gave me iron pills and eventually an iron iv drip. They said the swelling in my feet were from the iv fluids. I tried to explaing the pain i was having to the right side of my incision & they kept passing it off as constipation. I had my bowel movementon the 3rd day & was still in a lot of pain. Today i am 1w3d pp and i cant lift my left leg more than a foot or put pressure on my right for long without this "lump" hurting. Like i said its my first one so i wanted to is it normal for this lump to be so painful.. &&& also the day after i came home there was a pretty good size blood clot dangling from my vagina (pic) & looks to be membrane around it, normal ? My man now makes a joke about it being our sons evil twin lol

Oh man! I've had a c section and experienced the lump sensation and it ended up being where the internal sutures where but the clot is definitely looking like leftover afterbirth and you absolutely should get seen as to make sure you don't get an infection.

That is more than just a blood clot. Ive never had a c section so not entirely sure what kinds of pains are normal, but I would go in, show them these pictures, and insist on an ultrasound to check for retained afterbirth, since you have evidence they already left some inside of you.

I would demand to be seen, immediately. Listen, I’ve had 
1 c-section, my daughter just turned 2. I never had this. I would definitely demand a second opinion. Prayers to you.

Listen I have had four c sections and I don’t think I have ever had a clot that size a week later. Or the membrane. I would call your obgyn and tell them and even see if you can send the picture to them to be sure. You don’t want it to be something serious.

Anything over the size of a plum, which that is much larger and you need to go to the er. I didn't have anything near that size after my csection

Well. Everything does sound decently normal except for that clot. I hope you contacted your doctor! The lump could be stitches, hernia, or even constipation

Had three csections and never had the pain you described nor clots this large so long after the birth. Mention it to midwives or ob as they usually ask if you’ve had big clots to screen

I’ve never had a C section just 2 natural births. I would get a 2nd opinion that does NOT look okay I’ve had worrying clots and pain in the past with my natural births and there was a problem I had to get a 2nd opinion to find out and to get treated. My clots didn’t look that bad and they were a problem. The hospital incorrectly diagnosed me. Urgent care and family planning services made sure I got the medical treatment I needed.
