Are the wishlists from bots?

Stupid question I know, but my feed is FULL of wishlists, and they're from new users, "people" with zero to two followers. I know certain people might find out about the possibility of getting free things and sign up but I'm just curious.

People can’t get free things as when you use glow register you need to gift someone back within a certain timeframe before a gift is sent. I think many people come on here and think they get the gift for free and then quickly learn you also have to gift to get the gift. Along with some BOTs also
