I started a new job not too long ago. It’s decent. Not the biggest fair but it pays the bills.

This whole week my son was very sick. He had 106 fever and was rushed to the hospital and was admitted. Which causes me to obviously have to call out I’m unexpectedly and my job said “don’t you have someone else to stay in the hospital with your kid? We need you need tonight.”

Meanwhile my 2 year old son had a seizure bevsuse his fever was so high. Anyways, he was discharged two days later. I technically only missed one night of work. I work overnights. My job called me and told me i need a note from my sons doctor proving his hospital stay and the doctors signature saying that’s why I needed the time off. I don’t know if it’s just me but isn’t the doctor name and location of your kid’s pediatrician confidential ? It’s my sons doctor and location and I just don’t feel comfortable giving it to them.
